It's been a long time since we shopped at IKEA. It's been at least a couple of years.
Last week, I concluded that I needed more storage options in Pumpkin & Manzo's shared room.
I'm in the midst of doing lots of organizational projects around the house. (Blissful! Seriously. I love it.)
I want that particular shared bedroom to be more functional.
So, we headed to the right place for more storage: the big Swedish flat-packed furniture place.
As it turns out, the kids have really grown since we were last there.
If memory serves, both Superboy & Punkin played in the children's play area last time we were there.
(IKEA Play Area = specific children's area where kids can play and watch a movie while their parents go shopping. You have to check your child in with the IKEA staffers and they give you a beeper to carry while your child is under their supervision.)
This time, only one of our three monkeys was eligible to play in the play area.
And even for the one eligible monkey, we made sure she realized that, based on her height, this was definitely her last hurrah.
Goodbye, play place. (at least until Manzo gets older...)
Or shall we say it in Swedish?
Adjö spela plats.
