I went to a women's retreat this weekend. It was so lovely. I'm officially refreshed.
I brought my little cuite pie with me to the retreat.
We had such a good time together.
What a treat it was to just sit and hold him during the talks...
...and hold him during conversations with my friends...
...and hold him during two lovely restaurant meals.
No interruptions, no chores, no distractions.
He slept really well in the pack-n-play that I set up in the hotel room.
He's definitely at the stage where he loves to observe all the activity that's going on around him.
So, that being the case, this weekend was perfect for him.
He had a ball watching all the fun.

Several people came up to our table just to say how cute he is.

I'm so happy that I got to have such a great weekend with my little cuddle bug.
I took some video of him today to show some of his new tricks. So cute. I just need to upload it and post it here for the rest of the fam to see. I'll plan to post it the next time it's my turn here on the blog. (This week it's Ellie's turn.)
