Earlier today Pumpkin and I went on a field trip. We were able to get there early, and ended up getting great seats--the very front row. Our city's incredibly talented symphony orchestra gave a beautiful performance specifically designed for children. Loved every minute of it.
I have a few pictures of our time, but I haven't uploaded them yet, so I'll have to post pics tomorrow.

And since I feel the need for at least one picture, I'm re-posting an old pic from January 2008. This picture was taken by our friend Benton while we were all on vacation together.
The house where we were staying had pocket doors, which we all loved. During the day, we would slide them open and make the living room of the house a sort of indoor/outdoor space--the breeze would drift through and the birds (like this one) would pop in for a visit. I loved it.
I like this picture because it reminds me of those pocket doors, that comfortable rattan couch, and good times with our friends.
