We are two sisters, separated by many miles of both land and water.
We both love to read. And we love to write. And we love sharing little details of our lives with each other.
Back when we were little girls, cars were not equipped with DVD players, and iPods were nonexistent (as were CD players, for that matter.) That being the case, our parents had to find other ways to entertain us on car trips.
One of our favorite ways to pass the time was to listen to our dad tell stories. He told all sorts of stories, but our favorites were the ones starring Blue Eyes, Bright Eyes, Mommy Eyes, and Daddy Eyes--a character to represent each family member at the time.
Almost three decades later, Bright Eyes and Blue Eyes are still having lots of adventures. Our new sister blog will be nice to have as we attempt to record little bits of our days for each other, for other family members, and for friends both near and far.
We alternate weekly in writing posts for our blog.
Abbie lives in the Southeastern US with her husband and their two children. Superboy is 8. Pumpkin is 6.
After they got married, Ellie and her husband first lived in Germany, then in Tanzania. In 2010, they moved to Northwest England.
